Promoting a healthy lifestyle in the early years!

Children who are of walking age should be physically active for a minimum of 180 minutes throughout every day, and should be encouraged particularly in floor-based play and activities.

We deliver sessions at nurseries and pre schools as well as at weekly clubs in various locations.

At Ignite Sport we have been delivering sport to ages 2 to 102 since 1999.  We deliver physical education in 80 primary schools throughout the Thames Valley region, twinned with after school clubs. We are a registered training provider.  We employ 40 full-time coaches as well as 70 apprentices and scholars.  We provide tutors to secondary school sixth forms to deliver BTEC and NVQ qualifications in Sport.  Our holiday clubs and academies have been a firm favourite of parents in our region.  Buzz Tots is our early years product that promotes a healthy lifestyle through sport, teamed with education about healthy eating.  We deliver the sessions at your nursery or pre school and provide all of the equipment.  Sessions are delivered by our coaches, who are fully trained and vetted, and adhere to our policy as shown below.  We offer a variety of sports over a 6 week block of sessions.  Each session starts with a dynamic warm up and stretching.  Sports include football, movement and dance, tag rugby, tennis, agility, athletics, kwik cricket, golf, rounders, unihoc, badminton, basketball, netball, cheerleading, quidditch, boccia, bowling, and ball games to support the EYFS Physical Development programme for nursery school children.  Our early years sessions are a great introduction to sport for boys and girls at an early age.  They also help with coordination of both the left and right feet, fitness and physical coordination, as well as building social skills.

We create energetic and encouraging sessions through turning structured play into a real chance for your children to learn, develop and grow.  Our sessions will teach the children numerous sporting skills whilst encouraging participation, turn-taking, listening and self-belief.

Buzz Tots sessions are designed to incorporate exercise programmes to help young children’s agility, balance and coordination.  Buzz Tots aspires to exceed the EYFS and National Curriculum Key Stages guidelines.  Buzz Tots also introduces important skills and FUNdamentals.
