OMYFL Step Up in Coaching!
Online Programme

Our football coaching courses have been developed to support coaches working within the Oxford Mail Youth Football League

The programme contains modules covering:

• Season planning, block planning and session planning
• Pre-season ideas for foundation phase and youth development phase
• Nutrition and health for football
• Session delivery and creating a positive environment
• Player assessments and challenge-setting

Coaches will gain a Level 2 Certificate in Delivering Health-Related Activity Sessions on completion of the course.

Our football coaching courses will be delivered via online videos and course tasks, with additional live webinars via Zoom.

Coaches will also receive session plan ideas, tools to support their coaches, and will be able to access regular newsletters as part of the Step Up Community.

Course enrolment:

This course is offered FREE to coaches working within the Oxford Mail Youth Football League.

We are able to offer a limited number of coaches the opportunity to access the OMYFL Bursary Scheme, which will allocate £50 of sponsorship per coach towards the league fees.

Coaches must have been aged 19+ on 1st August 2019 to be eligible.

For maximum impact, coaches working together in a team as manager and assistant will benefit from completing planning tasks together.
