Ignite Sport UK General Manager Hannah Bladen has won The Motivator Award as part of JACKfm’s Lockdown Legends Awards. Winners have been announced throughout the day and we are super proud that Hannah is one of them.
The judges recognised Hannah’s unrelenting commitment throughout the pandemic to ensuring people reach their full potential. Hannah develops people nationally and locally via sport and education programmes and has also supported some of Oxfordshire’s most vulnerable teenagers through charities such as the Catch 22 social impact programme.
Ignite Sport UK and Hannah’s passion is mentoring people and helping them become the best they can be via good life choices and the power of sport.
Louise Merritt, Director of Operations at Ignite Sport UK, said: “Congratulations to Hannah on this well-deserved award.
“Hannah’s consistent and ultra-energetic engagement with people of all ages throughout Oxfordshire during the pandemic has been an inspiration. Her efforts have enabled us to deliver training, programmes, online physical activity and apprenticeships despite restrictions.
“Apprentices especially have had their year turned upside down, but Hannah’s ensured everyone’s development continued.
“Well done to all other nominees and winners and thank you to JACKfm for recognising individuals that have gone beyond the call of duty in Oxfordshire during the pandemic.”
Hannah has worked for us since November 2017 and has more than 25 years’ experience in the sports sector across two local authorities and more recently at Sport England.
“Thank you to all my colleagues who are all part of this award,” said Hannah. “The work we do at Ignite helping others is so rewarding and it is nice to be recognised for the impact we deliver. The awards have highlighted so many fantastic achievements in Oxfordshire and hopefully it has inspired more people in our community.”
