Season 2023/24 Key Dates

Fundraising

We are soon to open new applications for team managers and coaches to request funds for their team.  Monies awarded can support new kit where a sponsor has not been secured, equipment, external tournament entry and other football and team opportunuties.  To help contribute to the pot that funds this we need your support 😊

How can you help fundraise?...

1. Donate via our charity - Oxford City FC, Sport in The Community

2. Attend a fundraiser event  - Gather your friends, family, colleagues or fellow football parents and book your tickets to our upcoming Autumn/Winter events. 100% of profits from the below events are gifted directly to the fundraiser pot with further events to follow in 2024.  Our recent Halloween Party raised over £800.00 thank you to all who came and partied with us!

Boogie Bingo Night - Friday November 24th - tickets still available!

3. Christmas Market Cake & Craft Stall - December 23rd.  This match day is listed in the Season 2023/24 calendar as one of our family themed days, some of you may remember this event day previously where a grotto and pitch activities took place along with a mini Christmas Market, face painting and live music.  We are excited to confirm this will take place on December 23rd.  This day will see an extended match day with the Women's First Team playing ahead of the Men's league fixture vs Solihull FC.

Gates will open at 11:00am for a Mini Christmas Market, Grotto, BIG raffle, face painter and much more.  All teams will be invited to take part in an in-house tournament post final whistle plus a half time Santa vs Elves pitch lap.  Proceeds from activities on this match day are contributed to the fund.

Each team has with opportunities for team representatives to get involved with our Junior & Youth stalls at the Christmas Market where cakes and crafts can be donated and the stalls manned by players and coaches.  If you are interested in getting involved please email Tia : t.herbert@ignitesportuk.com

Your coaches will soon release forms to register for activities on this bumper match day!

Club Shop

Our club shop will be open outside of match days in the lead up to Christmas.  We have gifts, kit top up items and gloves and hats for the colder weather.  Opening times for this week:

Tuesday 21st Nov 5:30pm-7:00pm
Wednesday 22nd Nov 7:00pm-8:00pm
Saturday 25th Nov 9:30am-4:30pm

Christmas Holiday Camps

Take a look at our Christmas Camp line up and don't forget  to apply code PLAYER30 at the checkout to receive your 30% off any camp of your choice.  Why not take the opportunity to squeeze in that last minute trip to the shops, park for free at drop off and head into town via bus?

As part of our official delivery partner status with Oxfordshire Couty Council for HAF (Holiday Activity Fund) we are pleased to be offering over 1000 free places for children for children of families in receipt of benefits related income who receive free school meals.   Please contact Jamie or Tia at office@ignitesportuk.com to check eligibility.

Velocity Football

We are now recruiting for our full time football education sixth form programme, Velocity Football for 2024/25.  We encourage our current Under 16s and all year 11s with a passion for sport and football to take a look at contact us to regsiter for our next Open Training event on December 20th.
